Former NYC Mayor Bill DeBlasio’s “Covid Czar”, Dr. Jay Varma, was caught on tape this summer bragging about taking molly, having sex parties and going to raves during Covid lockdowns.
This is significant because Varma “served” as the city’s senior health and Covid-19 advisor during 2020 and 2021 and actively promoted mask wearing, social distancing and vaccine mandates. Yet like others in positions of authority before him, he went ahead and broke his own rules and later got caught doing so.
NYC workers who were fired for not obeying the city’s vaccine mandate have won lawsuits against the city. Yet, they STILL DO NOT HAVE THEIR JOBS BACK. Judges have ruled in their favor, stating that they were unjustly terminated and that the city must reinstate them immediately. It doesn’t happen. Why? Because the city just appeals the ruling and these workers are left in legal limbo. Teacher Michael Kane along with 9 of his colleagues won their lawsuit over a year ago and the judge ordered they return to work. But instead the case is stuck in the Second Circuit Court of Appeals and they can’t work. Another teacher who was 6 months from retirement when she was fired for not taking the vaccine won her suit also. When she tried to return to the classroom, she was escorted by security off school premises because the city had appealed the ruling and the school had no place for her. “I’m not a criminal, and yet they are making me feel like I’m breaking the law,” she said.
Not only did Dr. Varma brag on tape about his not socially distanced antics, he also asserted that “it doesn’t make any difference at all” if a person takes the vaccine or acquires natural immunity from exposure to the virus. He said, “Everybody’s been exposed to the virus. Whether you’re exposed to the virus because it’s breathed on you or because it got injected into you. It’s the same immune response.”
When unvaccinated city employees brought their lawsuits, Varma was called up to testify on the city’s behalf. He justified the NYC vaccine mandates in court, saying “The Covid-19 vaccine has been shown to offer those persons with a prior Covid-19 infection greater protection against reinfection.”
Yes, he contradicted himself completely. This why Queens Councilwoman Joanne Ariola has accused Varma of perjury and is calling for him to be “held accountable” (famous last words).
And yes, Varma has been fired from his pharmaceutical job for what he revealed on this videotape. That’s great. But others who were unjustly fired because of lies like his continue to suffer and feel the negative consequences of the vaccine mandate years later.

Everyone involved with the COVID restrictions knew COVID was not a significant threat and the restrictions would make no difference. that is why they never followed any of their own rules. They all knew the emergency was manufactured because they were part of the manufacturing process. It is way past time for all of them to be in jail
